CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Yoga - All Levels: A combination of Hatha &
Vinyasa yoga emphasizes health and well-being through breathing exercises, special postures called asanas, and concentration.
You will find immediate benefits of a relaxed body, calm mind and increased flexibility. New and experienced students
welcome.
Community Class (All Levels): This
is a 75-minute yoga class for only $7 drop-in rate. Wednesdays are Yoga All Levels with Vito. Saturdays are with our Yoga Teacher's in Training for All Levels. B Yoga Center wants to make practicing
yoga affordable to all our community members! Everyone welcome.
Vinyasa Basics: Learn the basics of this fun, flowing class which combines postures and sequences from various styles of yoga
to give your body the breath work and movement it needs. With a dynamic flowing sequence of postures linking breath
and movement, cultivate awareness while building core strength and flexibility. Great for new to Vinyasa. Open
to all levels.
Power Vinyasa (heated): This is
an uplifting, inspiring, Hot Flow (90+ degrees). Power Vinyasa Yoga is a unique sequence of postures aimed at strengthening
the mind-body connection. You will not find a better workout, physical or spiritual. This class is challenging,
but accessible to all, regardless of age, experience, or background.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga: A fun, flowing class combines postures and sequences from various styles of yoga to give your body the breathwork
and movement it needs. With a dynamic flowing sequence of postures linking breath and movement, cultivate awareness while
building core strength and flexibility. Open to all levels.
Kripalu: Kripalu Yoga unleashes the body's own
inner wisdom. You will learn how to listen to your body and honor its needs while increasing strength, flexibility and
promoting relaxation. This moderate class for advanced-beginner and intermediate practitioners will focus on proper
anatomical alignment, moving deeper into poses, and meditation-in-motion -- allowing the body to guide from within. Fusion Yoga: Unwind and
soothe your body with a beautifully flowing combination of asanas with core work woven throughout the practice. This class
strengthens and calms while reinforcing the connection between mind, body & spirit.
Prenatal
Yoga: Pregnancy is a transitional time for women,
when many physical and emotional changes take place. Prenatal yoga is about honoring these changes in yourself, your
body and your baby. Postures and breathing to help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, keep the body flexible,
while finding focus through the breath to connect mother and baby - helping to prepare your body for a healthy, mindful, more
natural approach to the challenges of labor and birth. All yoga levels welcome.
Over
Easy Yoga: Start your Sunday morning
out right! This class will help you smoothly transition into your week. Combining both Hatha and Vinyasa Flow
to warm the body. The last 15 minutes of the class includes guided meditation and deep relaxation.
Relax & Renew: An
opportunity to restore your energy both physically and mentally. This practice of passive openings and longer-hold
stretches utilizes a number of props for full body support. Go ahead - you deserve it!
Sunday
Flow: Feel the strength and fluidity of your body as
you strengthen and lengthen your muscles while working on your flexibility. You will be guided through this beautiful,
relaxing, and highly beneficial yoga flow practice. Watch life slow down as you move through this series
of postures.
Yin/Yang: A slower vinyasa flow
(emphasizing alignment, core connection and strength) incorporating yin style stretches. We will work from engaged to
more passively held yin style stretches to access the connective tissues and free up the energy channels of the body.
Feel strong, stretched, connected and balanced!
Stress Relief Yoga:
Take a much needed break in the middle of your day! The first half of the class consists of a half hour
of gentle stretching - the other half will be a blissful deep relaxation technique called Yoga Nidra - Yoga Nidra brings an
incredible calmness, quietness and clarity. You'll be ready for the rest of your day feeling fully relaxed and refreshed!
Ashtanga Inspired Flow: A deeply meditative
and fluid practice, students will explore pranayama and the integration of movement and breath in a flowing series of postures
inspired by Ashtanga Yoga. This practice creates a deep internal heat, purifying the body on a cellular level, quieting the
mind, awakening a dynamic internal dance and a deep sense of vibrant stillness. Suitable for all levels of student looking
for a more vigorous practice in 1 hour!
